I am interested in tracing the above family, especially its descent from Pierre-Louis-Auguste Ferron, Count (or Baron) de la Ferronays (1777-1842). There are many references to him in Chateaubriand's memoirs.

This is an easy question to answer - if you look on the www.roglo.eu site and type in the sruname you will find the answers you are looking for. The de La Ferronays family were very anglophile and lived in England for a while.
