1970), gave birth to a son, Thomas Samuel, 23 May, 2005, a brother for
Molly Rose Meme, who was b. 14 July, 2003.


Mr Montagu is the second son of the Hon. Anthony Trevor Samuel
Montagu, and his wife Deirdre, & Miranda Montagu is the daughter of Mr
& Mrs John Burton, of Catherington, Hampshire.


The infant is a great-grandson of the 3rd Baron Swaythling; & her
paternal grandmother is descended from the Barons Joicey, &c.

MONTAGU
Anthony Trevor Samuel, greatly loved by his wife, Deirdre and
children, Georgina, Rupert and Damian, died peacefully at home on 8th
September 2010. Funeral private.
He was the son of the 3rd Baron SWAYTHLING (1898-1990) and his 1st w
Mary Violet (d 1996) dau of Maj Walter Henry LEVY DSO (d 1923) and the
Hon Nellie SAMUEL (1883-1962, dau of 1st Viscount BEARSTED). He m 1962
Deirdre Bridget dau of Brig Ronald Henry SENIOR DSO TD (1904-8 and
the Hon Norah Marguerite JOICEY (1905-87) (dau of 2nd Baron JOICEY)
and had two sons and a dau. His elder son, RUPERT ANTHONY SAMUEL (b
1965) succeeds him as heir presumptive to the barony. He m 2007 Nancy
Bondshu dau of Donald WILSON of 213 Fairmont Av, San Carlos, CA 94070,
USA, and has two sons: Henry George Samuel (b 2008) and Alexander
Edward Samuel (b 2010).
