The engagement was announced in April, 2006, between David William Wentworth Saunders Watson (b. 1968), descended from the Culme-Seymour baronets, 2nd son of Commander (Leslie) Michael MacDonald Saunders Watson, CBE (b.1934), of The Manor House, Stoke Albany, Leicestershire, by his wife Georgina Elizabeth Laetitia Davis (descended from the Marquesses of Normanby), and Tabesim Karamat, daughter of Mr Karamat Khan and Mrs Shamim Akhtar, of Coventry, Warwickshire.

Tabesim Saunders Watson (née Karamat), wife of David William
Wentworth Saunders Watson (b. 1968), gave birth to a daughter,
Yasmin Liebe Georgina Shamim, 6 March, 2008.
David Saunders Watson is descended from the Culme-Seymour
baronets, & is the 2nd son of Commander (Leslie) Michael MacDonald Saunders Watson, CBE (b.1934), of The Manor House, Stoke Albany, Leicestershire, by his wife Georgina Elizabeth Laetitia Davis (descended from the Marquesses of Normanby), and Tabesim is the

Angela Mary Culme-Seymour, who died 22 January, 2012, aged 99, was the former wife of Sir Winston Churchill's nephew, John George Spencer Churchill, and a scion of the Culme-Seymour Baronets (cr UK 1809). She was born 3 Aug 1912, the daughter of Capt George Culme-Seymour (1878-1915), by his wife the former Janet Beatrix Orr Ewing, scion of that family of Baronets; she married 1stly 1934 (div 1938) John George Spencer Churchill (d 1992), scion of the Dukes of Marlborough; married 2ndly, 1938 (div 1942) the 3rd Baron Kinross; married 3rdly, 1948, Comte René Guillet de Chatellus; married 4thly, Ali Bulent Rauf. She leaves issue. a dau, Sarah (Sally) from her 1st marriage, and sons, Mark & Johnnie.
