The marriagde took place 31 March 1995, at Cambridge, between Timothy Ronald Geoffry Vestey (b 1961) and Mrs Tessa Shepherd-Barron.

Roger Edmund Vestey, b. 1921, son of Percy Charles Vestey (1893-1939) (3rd son of the 1st Vestey Baronet), by his wife the former Dorothy Emmeline Johnson (who d. 1976); married 1950, Penelope Jane, only daughter of Lieutenant Colonel Robert Arthur Little, DSO, late Australian Forces, of Melbourne, Australia; had issue, (i) Charles Julian, b. 1952, d. 1993; & (ii) James Patrick,b. 1954; died at his home 1st July, 2005, aged 84.

Sir (John) Derek Vestey, 2nd Baronet, a member of the croesus-rich dynasty which controlled a world-wide combine of over 300 companies, with interests in cattle, shipping, wool, frozen foods and commerce, died 30 June, 2005. He was aged 91.

He was born 4 June, 1914, son of John Joseph Vestey (1888-1932, who was eldest son of the 1st Baronet), by his wife, the former Dorothy Mary Beaver, and was educated at The Leys School, Cambridge.

His grandfather, Sir Edmund Hoyle Vestey, 1st Baronet (1866-1953), was Chairman of Union International Co., and joint head of the Blue Star Shipping Line.

Career: - - ->> he succeeded to the baronetcy on the demise of his grandfather, 18 Nov, 1953; Flight-Lieutenant, RAFVR, served in WWII, &c.

He married 21 June, 1938, Phyllis Irene, daughter of Harry Brewer, of Banstead, Surrey, by whom he had one son, Paul, and one daughter, Rosamund.

The baronetcy now passes to his son, who was b. 15 Feb, 1944, and is married with 3 daughters.

The heir presumptive to the 3rd Baronet, Roger Edmund Vestey (cousin of the 2nd Bt) died the day after his cousin, aged 84, and the heir presumptive to the title is now Roger's son, James Patrick Vestey, b. 1954.

The private funeral takes place on 12 July, 2005.

(Florence) Elizabeth Lindsay Clifton-Brown (nee Vestey), who died 15 December, 2006, was a scion of the Vestey Baronets (cr. 1921), b. 1926, daughter of Ronald Arthur Vestey (1898-1987) by his wife Florence Ellen McLean, and was a granddaughter of the 1st Bart. Married 1952, Robert Lawrence Clifton-Brown (b. 1929), scion of the Brown Baronets (cr. 1863), and leaves issue.

Penelope Vestey, who died 1 March, 2012, was widow of Roger Edmund Vestey (1921-2005), scion of the Vestey Baronets (cr UK 1921). She was the former Penelope Jane Little, dau of Lt-Col Robert Arthur Little, DSO, and married in 1950. Her son, James Patrick, born in 1954 is heir pres to the family baronetcy.
