The engagement was announced in July 2007 between Henry Frederick Hugh Cobbe (b 1975), younger son of Mr Richard Alexander Charles (Alec) Cobbe, of Hatchlands Park, Surrey, by his wife the former Hon Isabel Anne Marie Henrietta Dillon (b 1942), and Maria Zahn, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Zahn, of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.

Henry Cobbe is a grandson maternally of the 20th Viscount Dillon (1911-79).

Irene Viscountess Dillon, who has died, was the widow of the 20th Viscount Dillon (1911-79), and was a sister of Renée Lady Iliffe (1916-2007), and a niece of Edith, Viscountess Kemsley (d 1976), wife of the 1st Visc Kemsley (formerly Sir Gomer Berry), co-proprietor with his brother William, Viscount Camrose, of Allied Newspapers Ltd.

Viscountess Dillon was born Irene Merandon du Plessis, dau of René Merandon du Plessis, of Whitehall, Mauritius (brother of Edith Lady Kemsley), and married the 20th Viscount Dillon, 4 Dec 1939. He died 30 Nov 1979.
She was the mother of eight children, incl the 21st Viscount, b 18 Jan 1945. A Mass for Lady Dillon will be celebrated at The Catholic Church of Our Lady and St. John, Goring-on-Thames, Saturday 31st May.

The engagement was announced 13 April, 2012, between Thomas Alexander Michael Cobbe (b 1973), elder son of Richard Alexander Charles Cobbe, of Hatchlands Park, East Clandon, Surrey, by his wife the former Hon Isabel Anne Marie Henrietta Dillon (b 1942), and Mlle Emmanuele M.J. Moreau, second daughter of M and Mme Jean-Francois Moreau, of Taormina, Sicily.

Thomas Cobbe is a grandson maternally of the late 20th Viscount Dillon (Peerage of Ireland, cr 1622).
