Lady Colquhoun of Luss, who died 17 April, 2007, was the wife of Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss, 8th Baronet (b 4 Jan 1916), and the maternal grandmother of the 13th Duke of Argyll.

She was the former Kathleen Nimmo Duncan, 2nd daughter of Walter Atholl Duncan, of Cadogan Sq, London, & sister of Marjorie Ray Duncan, who married in 1938, the 6th Earl of Verulam.

She married Sir Ivar in 1943 and was mother of (i) Iona Mary (b 1945) who married 1964, the 12th Duke of Argyll (1937-2001); & (ii) Malcolm Rory Colquhoun (b 20 Dec 1947).

The funeral service is at Luss Parish Church, 25 April, followed by committal thereafter at Cardross Crematorium.

Sir Ivar Iain Colquhoun of Luss, 8th Baronet, died 31st January 2008
aged 93. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Iain Colquhoun of Luss, 7th
Bt. and Geraldine Bryde Dinah Tennant. He married Kathleen Nimmo
Duncan, daughter of Walter Atholl Duncan, on 17 April 1943. Sir Ivar fought as a captain in the Coldstream Guards in WWII and was a Deputy Lieutenant of Dumbartonshire. Sir Ivar was 30th Laird of Luss and 32nd of
Coquhoun. The heir to the baronetcy and chieftainship of the Colquhoun
clan is Malcolm Rory Colquhoun b. 20 Dec 1947.

Charlotte J. Colquhoun (nee Murphy), wife of Patrick Colquhoun of Luss, yr, scion of that family of baronets, gave birth to a son, Arthur Stewart, 19 July, 2012. Patrick is the eldest son of Sir Malcolm Colquhoun of Luss, 9th Baronet, and Mrs Susan Clark, of Princeton, New Jersey, USA, and Charlotte is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Christopher Murphy, of Horsford, Norfolk.
