Dominic Morris-Marsham is a scion of the Earls of Romney - a descendant via the 1st Earl's brother, of Robert, 2nd Baron ­Romney.

Vere Frances Leschallas (nee Bullock-Marsham), who died 25 March, 2006, aged 93, was descended from the Barons (later Earls of) Romney.

She was born 21 February, 1913, daughter of Cloudesley Henry Bullock-Marsham (1879-1928), by his wife the former Algitha Parker; married 1932, George Ronald Pigé Leschallas, who died in 1991

(i) (Anthony) Simon Pigé Leschallas, b. 1955, m. (1) 1987 Amanda Nanci, dau of Major James Le Coq, of Seething, Norfolk, and has issue living, Marie-Clair, b. 1988. He married (2) Joanna E.G. Lywood, 3rd dau of Mr & Mrs Jeremy Lywood, and has further issue, Kitty, Bertie (b.?), & Rupert Anthony Pigé, who was b. 13 Oct 2000.

(2) James Ronald Percy Pigé Leschallas, of Maryland, Worplesdon, Guildford, Surrey, b. 1943, m. 1967, Rosemary Elizabeth Elphinstone (b. 1947), only dau of the Rev the Hon Andrew Elphinstone and sister of the 18th Baron Elphinstone (1953-94), and has issue:-

She was born 20 March, 1915, daughter of Maj Richard Coke (1876-1964) by his 1st wife the Hon Doreen O'Brien (d 1960), dau of the 14th Baron Inchiquin; married 18 Jul 1946, Lt-Col Peter William Marsham, MBE (1913-70), scion of the Earls of Romney (cr Earl, UK, 1801).

Her son, Julian Marsham, succeeded his cousin as 7th Earl of Romney, 5 June, 2004.
