Tuesday, 2 September 2003
- Started updating the Viscounts of Arbuthnott

Wednesday, 19 August 2003
- Have been evaluating the Maximilian database available at http://www.peterwestern.f9.co.uk/maximilia/pafn833.htm to see if I should merge it into my database. However after importing it into TMG, the 40,000 odd names in this database appear to have a high degree of overlap with my 100,000 people, and almost every entry in the Maximilian database will need some editing to fit into my formatting scheme, so I think I will pass. Better to continue my self-imposed task of entering data from known sources in a consistent format for now.
- Decided to change the Baronets in my database so that the number of their title appears after their primary name, rather than just Bt., so ‘Sir John Smith, 5th Bt.’ instead of ‘Sir John Smith, Bt.’.

Tuesday, 19 August 2003
- Finally got the ‘Search for duplicates’ function in TMG working right, and have eliminated what I think are the final duplicates resulting from the 2002 merge with the S&N CD database.

Monday, 18 August 2003
- Finished Earls of Anglesey, now onto Earls of Angus, using Cokayne and Burkes.

Saturday, 16 August 2003
- Currently working on updating the Earl of Anglesey families, using Burke’s Peerage.
