The marriage took place shortly before 18 March, 2005, between Colonel Richard Edward Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Grenadier Guards, (b. 1954), of Netheravon, Wiltshire, scion of the Aubrey-Fletcher Baronets (created 1782), and Mrs Caroline Guerin (née Stapylton-Thorley), of Market Lavington, Wiltshire.

Colonel Aubrey-Fletcher is a son of Edward Henry Lancelot Aubrey-Fletcher (b. 1930), of Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, by his first wife Bridget Mary (d. 1977), eld daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Robert Kincaid Floyd, 5th Baronet, CB, CBE.

Colonel Aubrey-Fletcher is a grandson paternally of the 6th Baronet, and a cousin of Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, 8th Baronet. He is also a stepson of Baroness Braye (in her own right, 8th holder of the title)
