Rosalind Maud Cubitt), at Windsor on 9 April. It was announced that she will be known as HRH The Duchess of Cornwall.

Hon. Mrs. Gerald Lascelles, née Elizabeth Evelyn Collingwood, died in France on 14 January 2006
[She was born at Wimbledon on 23 April 1924, daughter of Brigadier Sydney Collingwood and of his first wife, née Charlotte Annie Oughterson. In 1978 she married, as his second wife, Hon. Gerald David Lascelles (son of Henry Lascelles, 6th Earl of Harewood, and of his wife, née Mary, Princess Royal of Great Britain and Northern Ireland [herself the daughter of King George V of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of his wife, née Princess Mary of Teck]). He died in 1998. The couple had already become the parents of a son, Martin, born in 1962.] (added 18 Jan 2006)

Lord Nicholas Windsor (son of Prince Edward of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Duke of Kent, and of his wife, née Katharine Worsley) married Paola Doimi de Frankopan (daughter of Don Louis and Donna Ingrid Doimi de Frankopan) in a civil ceremony in London on 19 October. A religious wedding followed on 4 November 2006 at the Church of Santo Stefano degli Abissini at the Vatican.

Richard James Christopher Bland (elder son of Godfrey Hamilton Bland and of his wife, née Olga Mary Hohler [herself the daughter of Edward Hohler and of his wife, née Jane Lane (herself the daughter of Robert Charlton Lane and of his wife, née Olga Fitzgeorge [whose father was a morganatic son of Prince George of Great Britain, Ireland and Hannover, Duke of Cambridge])]), and his wife, née Eleanor Mary Townsend (daughter of John Richard Townsend and of his wife, née Lady Juliet Smith [herself the daughter of the second Earl of Birkenhead]) had their first child, Frederick Robin James, on 15 September, 2006.

Alexander Patrick Gregers Richard Windsor, Earl of Ulster (son of Prince Richard Alexander Walter George of Great-Britain and Northern-Ireland, Duke of Gloucester, and of his wife, née Birgitte Eva van Deurs) and his wife, née Claire Alexandra Booth, had their first child, Xan Richard Anders, Lord Culloden, on 12 March 2007.

Hon. Mrs Angela Lascelles, née Dowding, died at Virginia Water, Surrey, on 28 February 2007.

She is sruvived by one son and one grandson.]

The bride is a granddaughter of Leonard Winkleman who married at Hackney in 1935, Fanny Goldstein.

The abovementioned Eve Pollard married 2ndly, at Islington, 1979, Sir
Nicholas Markley Lloyd (born 9 June 1942) is a British former
newspaper editor and broadcaster. Lloyd graduated from St Edmund Hall,
Oxford. He edited the Sunday People from 1982 to 1983, then moved to
edit the News of the World for a year from 1984, and finally edited
the Daily Express from 1986 until 1995.Lloyd received a knighthood in
the 1990 Prime Minister's Resignation Honours. He presented a
breakfast show on LBC 97.3, a London radio station, from 1997 to 1999.
Since 1996, he has been the chairman of the Brown Lloyd James public
relations consultancy.
