Beresford Burston McMahon married Sarah Jane E. Rule (born c.1854 in Marylebone, London) in 1878 in Kensington, London (Sarah was listed as Jeanie, possibly meant to be her middle name (as Janie) in the 1881 census).
They had a daughter, Ethel Alice, who was born before their marriage in c.1873, Marylebone, London.

Interesting - I wonder why Burkes Peerage has him listed as died unmarried?
