Is listed as being awarded the DSC

but this London Gazette:

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/36572/supplements/2932/page.pdf

clearly shows that he was awarded the DSC and bar (a second DSC award)

While this may not seem important, I believe that credit is due for this award.
