_. The engagement was announced 30 October 2009 between James F.
Meiklejohn, son of Lt-Cdr and Mrs I.P.F. Meiklejohn, of Blervie,
Morayshire, and Miranda Nunneley, elder daughter of Mr William
Nunneley, of Bridgetown, Somerset, y his wife the former Fiona Grant,
(now the of Hon Mrs Fiona Laing), of East Lothian. (Miranda's mother
married 2ndly, the Hon Robert Laing (b. 1953) of Humbie, East Lothian,
yr son of the Baron Laing of Dunphail.
