Princess Helga-Lee zu Schaumburg-Lippe died at New York on 9 July 2005.
[She was born at Köln on 24 February 1911, daughter of Carl Hermann Roderbourg abd of his wife, née Claude Lennox Miller. In 1933 she married Prince Max zu Schaumburg-Lippe (1898-1974), son of Prince Albrecht zu Schaumburg-Lippe and of his first wife, née Duchess Elsa of Württemberg. They had no children together, but she had an adopted son, Mario Max Prince Schaumburg-Lippe.]

Prince Leopold zu Schaumburg-Lippe died at Bad Waldsee on 25 January 2006.

[He was born at Schloß Nachod on 21 February 1910, son of Prince Friedrich zu Schaumburg-Lippe and of his second wife, née Princess Antoinette of Anhalt. He was unmarried.]

It is reported that Alexander Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe has become engaged to marry, as his second wife, the lawyer Nadja Anna Zsöks.

Franz Joseph Graf von Degenfeld-Schonburg died on 10 October 2006.

[He was born at Heilbronn-am-Neckar on 25 September 1962, son of Christoph-Anton Graf von Degenfeld-Schonburg (himself the son of Ferdinand Graf von Degenfeld-Schonburg [himself the son of Ferdinand Christoph Graf von Degenfeld-Schonburg and of his wife, née Maria Gräfin von Wenckheim] and of his wife, née Maria Freiin von Biegeleben [herself the daughter of Maximilian Freiherr von Biegeleben and of his wife, née Elisabeth Zernentsch]) and of his wife, née Rosalie d’Espagne de Venevelles (herself the daughter of Georges d’Espagne de Venevelles [himself the son of Armand Stanislas d’Espagne, Marquis de Venevelles, and of his wife, née Princess Jeanne de Croy] and of his wife, née Marguerite-Marie des Isnards [herself the daughter of Charles, Marquis des Isnards, and of his wife, née Rosalie de Laborde]). Since 1993 he had been married to Andrea von Schaumburg-Lippe (daughter of Prince Albrecht zu Schaumburg-Lippe [himself the son of Prince Maximilian zu Schaumburg-Lippe and of his wife, née Duchess Olga of Württemberg] and of Marie Gabriele Freiin von Pfetten-Arnbach). He is survived by her and by their two children.]

Alexander Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe married, as his second wife, the lawyer Nadja Anna Zsoeks in a civil ceremony at Bückeburg on 28 June, followed by a religious ceremony at Bückeburg on 30 June 2007.

He was b at Hagenburg on 22 December 1930, son of Wolrad Fürst zu Schaumburg-Lippe and of his wife, née Princess Bathildis su Schaumburg-Lippe. He married 28 Dec 1956, at Hanover, Sigrid Knape (b Hirschberg 2 Sept 1929; d Bielefeld 30 Aug 1997), daughter of Gerhard Knape and Lieselotte Hennig; married 2ndly, at Bielefeld, 6 Nov 1998 Petra Maass (b.Salzkotten 18 Feb 1951) . he leaves issue from his 1st marriage, 2 children, viz:- York Karl-Albrecht Konstantin (b.Bielefeld 4 Jun 1960); Tatjana-Sybille Viktoria Juliane (b.Bielefeld 13 Nov 1962); and from his 2nd marriage he leaves a son, Oliver Konstantin Mortimer (b. at Bielefeld 27 Mar 1988)
