William Sitwell, younger son of Mr & Mrs Francis Sitwell, and nephew
of Sir Reresby Sitwell, Bt, announced his engagement, 26 January,
1999, to Laura Barbara, daughter of Mr & Mrs Euan McCorquodale.

Francis Trajan Sacheverell Sitwell, b. 17 September, 1935, yr son of
Sir Sacheverell Sitwell, 6th Baronet, CH, and brother & heir pres. to
Sir Reresby Sitwell, 7th Baronet, died 14 January, 2004. He married in
1966, Susanna Carolyn, dau of Sir Ronald Hibbert Cross, KCMG, KCVO,
1st Baronet (and a sister of the second wife of the 8th Marquess of
Downshire); 2 sons, 1 daughter; the heir pres to the baronetcy is the
elder son, George Reresby Sacheverell, b. 1967.

Laura Sitwell, (nee McCorquodale, of that landed family), wife of
William Ronald Sacheverell Sitwell, (b. 1969), nephew of Sir Reresby
Sitwell, 7th Baronet, gave birth to a son, Albert Norman Francis
Sacheverell Sitwell, at the Borders General Hospital, Melrose, 19
July, 2004, a brother for Alice Edith, who was b. 18 March, 2002.

The engagement was announced 11 May 2006, between George Reresby Sacheverell Sitwell (b. 1967), heir presumptive to the Sitwell Baronetcy (UK 1808), son of the late Francis Trajan Sacheverell Sitwell (1935-2004), of Weston Hall, Towcester, by his wife Susanna Carolyn Cross, & Martha L. de Blank, second daughter of Mr & Mrs Justin de Blank, of London.

Sir (Sacheverell) Reresby Sitwell, 7th Baronet, who died 31 March 2009. aged 81, was scion of the great literary dynasty, and owner of Renishaw Hall, Derbyshire.

From the Telegraph and Times of 14 December 2010:
SITWELL
(Stebbing) Pauline C M, died at home aged 94, after an independent
active life, as a talented: artist, writer, poet, skier, dancer and
campaigner. Funeral Mass at the Church of Our Lady, Queen of Heaven,
4a Inverness Place, Queensway, London, W2 3JF, 6th January at.— 12
noon, followed by interment at St. Mary's R.C. Cemetery, Kensal Green,
London. John Nodes, Funeral Services 020 8969 1819.
She was the dau of W/Cdr William George SITWELL DSC RAF (1890-1927),
scion of that gentry family of Barmoor Castle (a cadet branch of the
Sitwell Bts) and of the viscounts GORT, and Margery Julie (1893-74,
dau of Lionel H BARNARD of 9, Chester Place, London N.W). She m 1940
Peter Evelyn (1914-91) son of Henry STEBBING of Milton Heath,
Weybridge, Surrey.
