Eleanora Henderson, who died 14 March, 2006, was the widow of David Hope Henderson (1912-77), scion of the Barons Faringdon. She was Eleanora Anderson Spence, daughter of Maj. David Anderson Spence, VD, late The Black Watch, and married David Henderson as his 2nd wife in 1945. She leaves issue. The funeral is at St Margaret's, New Galloway, 23 March 2006.

Butler-Henderson (b. 1967), gave birth to a son, Toby Alexander,
12 Oct, 2008, a brother for Sophie Emma, who was b 11
September, 2005.

David James Butler-Henderson is a scion of the Barons Faringdon, son
of Mrs T. Rapley (nee Maria Cassy Ugena), of Moraira, Spain, and the
late Alan Butler-Henderson, & Claire is a daughter of Dr & Mrs John
Nocton, of Uckfield, East Sussex.


David is a grandson of Edward (Teddy) Butler-Henderson (1916-2002), &
a
great-grandson (paternally) of the 1st Baron Faringdon, & a gt-
grandson
of the 5th Baron Clarina. His paternal grandmother was Elizabeth
Dacres
Dixon, a granddaughter of the Hon. Henry Pelham, and a great-niece of
the 4th Earl of Yarborough, &c.

_.The engagement was announced 19 February, 2010, between Charles E.O. Giffard, scion of that LG family of Chillington Hall, near
Wolverhampton, elder son of Mr and Mrs John Giffard, of Chillington
Hall, Staffordshire, and Tessa J. Henderson (b 1983), daughter of Mr Nicholas Henderson, of Lambourn, Berkshire, and Mrs Diana Henderson, of Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire.

The Giffards descend from Osborne de Bolebec, a noble Norman living in
the time of Richard I, surnamed Sans Peur (see BLG). The family have
held Chillington since 1178!


Tessa Jane (b 1983) is the middle dau of the Eton-educated racehorse
trainer Nicholas John HENDERSON (b 1950), scion of the Barons
Faringdon, and his wife and sometime jockey Diana Amanda dau of John
THORNE of Chesterton Stud, Leamington Spa, Warwicks. Tessa's gt gt gf
was the brother of the 1st Baron Faringdon (cr UK 1916)

BURLAND - ARTHUR EUGENE
much loved husband of Serina and father of Heloise, James, Anna and
Lucinda, grandfather of Molly, Daisy, Alfie, Finnie and Alexander,
passed away on 27 September 2010 in France. Funeral was held in
Lectoure Cathedral on 1 October 2010
He m 1990 Serina (b 1953) dau of Kenneth BUTLER-HENDERSON (1929-2009,
descendant of the 1st Baron FARINGDON (1850-1934)) and Phyllis Daphne
(b 1924 dau of Lt-Col Alfred Edward CARTMEL CIE 1893-1974) and had
issue as above [note, not all listed in the ref books].
