|Princess Marie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (b.Paris 11 July 1980, daughter of Prince Robin zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his second wife, née Marie-Christine Heftler-Louiche) married Olivier Le Maire (b.Paris 12 Jun 1976, son of the late Maurice Le Maire and of his wife, née Viviane Fradin de Belabre [who is descended from prince Franz Xaver of Saxony (1730-1806)]) at St.Tropez on 2 July 2005.
Lambros James Milona and his wife, née Princess Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (daughter of Prince Otto-Ludwig zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his wife, née Annette Freiin von Cramm, and former wife of Alexander Erbprinz zu Schaumburg-Lippe) had their first child together, Lana, at Munich on 2 August 2005.
Marguerite Fürstin zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, née Fouché d'Otrante, died on 25 August 2005.[She was born at Elghammar, Sweden, on 28 March 1909, daughter of Charles Fouché, Duc d'Otrante (himself the son of Gustave Fouché, Duc d'Otrante, and of his second wife, née Therese Freiin von Stedingk), and of his wife, née Countess Madeleine Douglas (herself the daughter of Count Ludwig Douglas and of his wife, née Countess Anna Ehrensvärd). In 1934 she married Gustav Albrecht Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (b.1907, son of Richard Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his wife, née Princess Madeleine zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg), who went missing in action in Russia in 1944. She is survived by their children: Richard Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (who is married to Princess Benedikte of Denmark; Princess Madeleine (married to Otto Graf zu Solms-Laubach); Prince Robin; Princess Tatiana (formerly married to Prince Moritz of Hesse); and Princess Pia.]
Vera Freifrau von Herman auf Wain died on 24 September 2005.
[She was born at Frankfurt-am-Main on 20 December 1913, daughter of Joachim von Manteuffel and of his wife, née Martha Mumm von Schwarzenstein. In 1936 she married Beno-Richard Freiherr von Herman auf Wain (1905-1974), son of Beno Freiherr von Herman auf Wain and of his wife, née Princess Hilda zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. She is survived by their four children, seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.]
Ursula von Kotze, née Klinder, died at Rottach-Egern on 6 July 2006.[She was born at Neu-Babelsberg on 1 October 1917, daughter of Fredi Klinder and of his wife, née Katharina Kriegel. In 1949 she married Hans-Detlef von Kotze (1911-1983), son of Hans Ludolf von Kotze and of his wife, née Princess Charlotte zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. She is survived by their son, Christian.
According to Point de Vue, circa Dec 2006, Hereditary Prince Gustav zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (b.1969, son of Richard Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his wife, née Princess Benedikte of Denmark) is engaged to marry Carine Axelsson.
Mme Birgitta Fouret, née af Klercker, died at Paris on 17 January 2007.
[She was born at Stockholm on 1 Apr 1942, daughter of Fredrik af Klercker and of his wife, née Birgitta Zätterström. From 1970 to 1979 she was married to Prince Robin zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (son of Gustav Albrecht Fürst zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his wife, née Marguerite Fouché d’Otrante). Since 1980 she had been married to Olivier Fouret. She had a son and a daughter from her first marriage.]
Pieter Haitsma Mulier married Princess Vanessa-Irina zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (daughter of Prince Otto-Ludwig zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and of his wife, née Anette Freiin von Cramm) in a religious ceremony at Berleburg on 8 September 2007. Their civil marriage had been in London in November 2006. Their first child, Selina, was born on 23 April 2007.
