Hi and Happy New Year

Within the last few minutes, I came across this website and forum, so I am hoping someone can assist me with a problem.

I have in my possession a family Coat of Arms, which I believe belongs to one of my ancestors, Alfred, 1st Viscount Milner. I have tried to look at online copies of Who's Who etc, but I have not been able to locate a name with the same Armorial Bearings. I inherited the Coat of Arms through my grandfather.

The Motto is: 'Addit Frena Feris'; the shield is made up of 3 horse bits, each one in the shape of an 'H'

Is it possible for someone to look up Debrett's or Burke's to see if any Armorial Bearings are in those books?

I do not live in the UK anymore and find it rather hard to do this form of family research.

With regards

Richard
