Sir William Fane Wrixon-Becher, 5th Baronet, died 8 January, 2000.

The engagement was announced, 23 August, 2002, between Sir John William Michael Wrixon-Becher, 6th Baronet (cr 1831), b. 1950, son of the late Sir Wm. Wrixon-Becher, 5th Bt, MC, & his wife the former Hon. Ursula Vanda Maud Vivian, daughter of the 4th Baron Vivian, & Mrs Caroline Walters, daughter of cider heir (James) Esmond Bulmer, of Studley Royal House, Ripon, North Yorkshire, former Conservative MP for Kidderminster, by his first wife, the former Morella Kearton (now Lady Wiggin, wife of Sir Alfred William (Jerry) Wiggin, Kt, &c.) Sir John's parents divorced in 1960, and his late mother, Vanda, who died in 1984, married secondly, 1962, the 9th Earl of Glasgow, who died also in 1984.
