The 6th Earl Cathcart, CB, DSO, MC, died 15 June, 1999, aged 79.

Katherine Candida Peppiatt, (nee Innes), b. 1967, wife since 1994, of Giles Ernest Peppiatt, gave birth to a son, Louis Kenneth Cathcart, 11 April, 2002, a brother for Dominic & Oliver. Mrs Peppiatt is the elder daughter of Colin Berowald Innes, (b.1936), of the Innes of Balvenie Baronets (cr. 1628), and his wife, the former Clovannis Jane Cathcart, kinswoman of the 7th Earl Cathcart. Mrs Peppiatt is a niece of Baroness Jauncey of Tullichettle.

The marriage took place on Thursday, 23 July 2009, at St Mary's
Church, Pakenham, between Julian Spicer and the Lady Louisa Cosgrave
(b 1948), widow of Norman Kirkpatrick Cosgrove (who d 1991), & dau of
the 6th Earl Cathcart, CB, DSO, MC (1919-1999), by his 1st wife the
former Rosemary Clare Marie Gabrielle Smyth-Osbourne.

.Clovannis Jane Innes ((née Cathcart), scion of the Earls Cathcart (cr UK 1814) born 1942, dau of Lt-Col Charles Frederick Cathcart (1912-71), by his wife the former Pamela Violet Stirling; married 1961, Maj Colion Berowald Innes, Black Watch (scion of the Innes Baronets cr 1628); died at Pitlochry, 18 January, 2012. She leaves issue.
