Anyone know any good books about the aristocracy in Paris with references to debutantes , social season, ettiquette etc All the books on this subject only seem to be in French

Difficult question as there are no books as such on this topic - just announcements in papers.....and all in French. The French aristocracy, as a whole, do not have balls in Paris anymore - they tend to be in the provinces and for the most part, quite private. There is the Bal du Crillon but this has little to do with French nobility, more the intercontinental world.
