I upgraded to TMG v8.00 for my main genealogy database just before Christmas.
Then last week it started to throw out a very scary looking FoxPro database error whenever I tried to add a new source to my database.
So the issue is with TMG's tech support people at the moment to see if it is a bug in v8, or a data problem in my database. I suspect it is a bug and not a database issue but we shall see.
In the meantime I can't add any new data to my database, or work through the emails you all have been sending me. Hopefully this won't take too many more days to resolve.
The alternate is reverting to my last backed up database using TMG v7.04, which means I have about 3 weeks worth of work I would have to redo. Am trying to avoid that option on pain of death.

It turns out that TMG can't handle more than 2.1m source citations in a database gracefully.
Not a show-stopper - all I have to do is hit 'ignore' about 3 times every time I add a source citation and move past the error messages that appear.
Hoping this this issue gets fixed in TMG v8.02 and that it happens soon.
Meantime I'm back to adding and amending thepeerage.com after a 2 week hiatus.
Regards
