The 15th Viscount Valentia (Richard John Dighton Annesley) died 20 August 2005. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Francis William Dighton, born 1959. The 16th Viscount's younger brother, Hon Peter John, b. 1967 is the heir presumptive. (A middle brother, Hon. Richard, b. 1962, died in a car accident in 1989).

William.

Sophie Elizabeth (b 1977) d of Richard Bruce ANNESLEY (b 1937), scion
of the viscounts VALENTIA, and Elizabeth Mary Emily, d of Thomas DOYLE
of Armanagh, Glenbrook, co Cork. She m 2005 James Daniel TAYLOR of 116
Brynland Av, Bristol BS7 9DY.
