     Sir David de Lindsay, 3rd of Crawford was the son of Sir David de Lindsay, Lord of Luffness and Marjorie of Huntingdon.2 He married Christina (?).2 He died in 1241.2
     Sir David de Lindsay, 3rd of Crawford was invested as a Knight.2 He held the office of High Justiciary of Lothian [Scotland] in 1238.1

     Margaret de Burgh was born circa 1222.1 She was the daughter of Hubert de Burgh, 1st Earl of Kent and Margaret of Scotland.1 She married Richard de Clare, 5th Earl of Gloucester, son of Gilbert de Clare, 4th Earl of Gloucester and Lady Isabella Marshal, in 1232. She died in 1237.1
     Margaret de Burgh was also known as Megotta de Burgh.1 From 1232, her married name became de Clare.
