     Lieutenant Walter Theodore Blunt was born on 25 November 1870.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Grant Blunt and Rachel Eliza Pile.1 He died on 3 January 1892 at age 21, unmarried.1
     Lieutenant Walter Theodore Blunt gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Irish Regiment.1
