     Very Rev. George Tottenham was born on 20 October 1825.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Lord Robert Ponsonby Tottenham and Hon. Alicia Maude.2 He married Emily Frances Maclean, daughter of Reverend William Maclean, on 27 January 1858.1 He died on 19 October 1911 at age 85.1
     Very Rev. George Tottenham graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He held the office of Canon of St. Patrick's, Dublin.1 He was the Rector at Innismacsaint, Ireland.1 He held the office of Dean of Clogher.1
