     Lieutenant Connell Scanlan was the son of Michael Scanlan and Elizabeth Wheeler.1 He died in 1813 at Bayonne, France, from wounds received in action.1
     Lieutenant Connell Scanlan fought in the Battle of Vitoria.1

     Alicia Dexter was born on 29 December 1845.1 She was the daughter of Captain Joseph Dexter and Maria Wren.1 She married William Scanlan, son of William Odell Scanlan and Aphrosia Brown, in 1865.1 She died on 13 January 1940 at age 94 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A..1
     From 1865, her married name became Scanlan.1
