Maj.-Gen. John William Younghusband was born on 2 January 1823.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Younghusband and Frances Romer.1 He married Clara Jane Shaw, daughter of Robert Grant Shaw, on 21 February 1856.1 He died on 20 July 1907 at age 84.1

George Austen Patterson Younghusband was born on 18 November 1831.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Younghusband and Frances Romer.1 He died on 4 January 1858 at age 26 at Kala Nudder, Futtteghar, India, from wounds received in action.1
