     Thomas Butler was the son of Thomas Butler and Margaret Barry.2 He died on 17 January 1917, unmarried.1
     Thomas Butler held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tipperary.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Tipperary.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tipperary in 1880.1 He suceeded his eldest brother John in the estates but eventually sold the tenanted land to its occupiers (under the provisions of the 'Wyndham' Land Act) and bequeathed both the proceeds and Ballycarron House itself to the Church.1 He lived at Ballycarron, County Tipperary, Ireland.1

     Colonel Charles Butler was born on 15 December 1835.1 He was the son of Thomas Butler and Margaret Barry.2 He died on 5 June 1904 at age 68, unmarried.1
     Colonel Charles Butler gained the rank of Colonel in the Army.1
