     Ida Frances Clarke was born on 3 March 1880.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Henry Stephenson Clarke and Arabella Rose.2 She married, firstly, Charles Maxwell, son of Henry St. Patrick Maxwell, on 1 February 1913.1 She married, secondly, William Russell in 1920.1 She died on 28 March 1968 at age 88.1
     From 1 February 1913, her married name became Maxwell.1 From 1920, her married name became Russell.1
