Commander Frederick Charles Law was born on 27 March 1841.1 He was the son of Hon. William Towry Law and Hon. Augusta Champagne Graves.2 He married Charlotte Margaret Crawford, daughter of Hon. John Willoughby Crawford, on 28 May 1874.1 He died on 13 December 1922 at age 81.1
He fought in the Crimean War, in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was Secretary to the Lieutenant-Governors of Ontario, for 20 years.1
