     Lt.-Col. Vivian Home Seymer was born on 17 October 1894.2 He is the son of Basil Home Thomson and Grace Indja Webber.2 He married Lucy Ridgley Buckler, daughter of Dr. William Hepburn Buckler and Georgina Grenfell Walrond, on 29 April 1922.2 He died on 7 January 1967 at age 72.2
     He was Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.2 He was educated Radley and RMA Woolwich.2 He was Lieutenant-Colonel Royal Artillery WW I (despatches thrice), FRIBA, Honour Steward Westminster Abbey.2 He was given the name of Vivian Home Thomson at birth.2 First World War.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.2 On 3 November 1919 his name was legally changed to Vivian Home Seymer by Royal Licence.2

     Mary Carlyon was born on 26 November 1751.1 She was the daughter of William Carlyon and Elizabeth Pomeroy.1 She married Thomas Carlyon, son of Thomas Carlyon and Ann Gwavas, on 24 February 1778 at St. Blazey, Cornwall, EnglandG.1 She died on 13 January 1821 at age 69.1
     From 24 February 1778, her married name became Carlyon.1

     Frances Meautys is the daughter of Hercules Meautys.1 She married, firstly, Edward Shute before 1623.1 She married, secondly, Robert Radcliffe, 5th Earl of Sussex, son of Henry Radcliffe, 4th Earl of Sussex and Honor Pound, in December 1623.1
     From before 1623, her married name became Shute.1 After her marriage, Frances Meautys was styled as Countess of Sussex in December 1623. From December 1623, her married name became Radcliffe.1
