     Thomas Samuel Grubbe was born in 1792.1 He was the son of Samuel Grubb and Margaret Shackleton.2 He married Elizabeth Haughton, daughter of John Barcroft Haughton and Sarah Cambridge, in 1819.1 He died in 1885.1
     He was a boat-builder, iron, oils and colour merchant.1 In 1830 he built Richmond Mills.1 He lived at Richmond Mills, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at The Quay, Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.1
