     Sir Reginald John Cust was born on 25 September 1828.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Henry Cockayne Cust and Lady Anna Maria Elizabeth Needham. He married Lady Elizabeth Caroline Bligh, daughter of Edward Bligh, 5th Earl of Darnley and Hon. Emma Jane Parnell, on 13 December 1855.1 He died on 11 June 1913 at age 84.1
     Sir Reginald John Cust graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was a practising barrister.1 He was Chief Commissoner of the West Indies Incumbered Estates between 1887 and 1892.1 He was invested as a Knight.
