     Captain Albert Edward Sydney Louis Paget was born on 23 May 1879.1 He was the son of General Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Henry Fitzroy Paget and Mary Stevens.1 He died on 2 August 1917 at age 38, on active service, unmarried.1
     Captain Albert Edward Sydney Louis Paget gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 11th Hussars.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901, where he won a medal with four clasps.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917, where he was wounded, and was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He gained the rank of General Staff Officer in 1916.1
