She married Georg von Borek-Dohalsky, Count Dohalic on 30 March 1940 at Prague, Czech Republic. She died on 22 October 1990 at age 73 at Lissa, Germany.
     Josefa Elizabeth Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis was baptised with the name of Josefa Elizabeth Maria vom Frieden Blanka Karolina Franziska Kordula Amanda Erich Gabriele Ignatia Emma. Her married name became von Borek-Dohalsky.
