     Margaret Bruce Dundas was the daughter of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland.2 She married Alexander Gibson, son of John Gibson and Helen Carmichael, on 19 October 1770.1 She died on 22 December 1774.1
     From 19 October 1770, her married name became Gibson.1

     Eleanor Margaret Gibson-Carmichael was the daughter of Sir John Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 6th Bt. and Janet Hyndford Elliot.2 She married Alexander Begbie in 1828.1 She died on 5 December 1883, without issue.1
     From 1828, her married name became Begbie.

     Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. was born on 21 December 1774.1 He was the son of Alexander Gibson and Margaret Bruce Dundas.2 He married, firstly, Janet Maitland Dundas, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Eleanora Elizabeth Home, on 7 February 1806.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Anne Napier, daughter of Francis Napier, 8th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Maria Margaret Clavering, on 8 June 1816.1 He was also reported to have been married on 13 June 1816.2 He died on 13 December 1849 at age 74.1
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 5 November 1803.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 58th Foot.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1823.1

     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask was born on 30 June 1750.2 He was the son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland.2 He married Eleanora Elizabeth Home, daughter of Reverend Alexander Home, 9th Earl of Home and Primrose Elphinstone, on 9 January 1784.2 He died on 3 June 1794 at age 43 at GuadeloupeG, from yellow fever.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Orkney and Shetland between 1771 and 1784.2 He fought in the American War of Independence between 1779 and 1781, where he surrendered Yorktown.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in the 80th Regiment.2 He lived at Carron Hall, Larbert, Stirlingshire, Scotland.2 He fought in the Capture of Guadeloupe, Martinque and St. Lucia in 1794, from the French.2

     Janet Maitland Dundas was born on 23 July 1787.2 She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Eleanora Elizabeth Home.3,2 She was baptised on 16 August 1787 at Larbert, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.2 She married Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt., son of Alexander Gibson and Margaret Bruce Dundas, on 7 February 1806.1 She died on 7 June 1814 at age 26.1
     From 7 February 1806, her married name became Gibson-Carmichael.1

     Sir Alexander Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 8th Bt. was born on 6 June 1812.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. and Janet Maitland Dundas.2 He was baptised on 14 July 1812 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, ScotlandG.3 He died on 8 May 1850 at age 37, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 13 December 1849.1
