     Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton was born on 16 April 1879.^1,2 He was the son of Field Marshal Sir Charles Comyn Egerton and Anna Wellwood Hill.³ He married Anita Adolphine David, daughter of Albert Rudolph David, on 2 September 1913.¹ He died on 1 January 1943 at age 63, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April 1900 in the Royal Navy.² He gained the rank of Commander on 30 June 1912.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Captain on 30 June 1917.² He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM George V in 1928.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral on 11 June 1928.² He retired from the military on 4 January 1933, with the rank of Vice-Admiral.² He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was Commodore of Convoys of the Royal Naval Reserve on 7 May 1942.^1,2

     From 2 September 1913, her married name became Egerton.

Sir David Boswell Egerton, 16th Bt. was born on 24 July 1914.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Wion de Malpas Egerton and Anita Adolphine David.² He married Margaret Gillian Inge, daughter of Rev. Canon Charles Cuthbert Inge and Arabella Hamilton Sams, on 10 April 1946.¹ He died on 17 November 2010 at age 96.³

     Rev. Canon Charles Cuthbert Inge was born on 2 May 1868.² He was the son of Reverend William Inge and Susanna Mary Churton.² He married Arabella Hamilton Sams, daughter of Charles Hamilton Sams and Caroline Jane Robin, on 18 October 1904.² He died on 13 April 1957 at age 88.²

     She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.)¹ From 10 April 1946, her married name became Egerton.

     Sir William de Malpas Egerton, 17th Bt. was born on 27 April 1949.¹ He is the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir David Boswell Egerton, 16th Bt. and Margaret Gillian Inge.² He married Ruth Watson, daughter of Reverend George Watson, on 31 July 1971.¹
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Northdown Farmhouse, Sutton Road, Sutton Poyntz, Weymouth, Dorset, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 17th Baronet Egerton, of Egerton and Oulton, co. Chester [E., 1617] on 17 November 2010.³

     Ruth Watson is the daughter of Reverend George Watson.² She married Sir William de Malpas Egerton, 17th Bt., son of Maj.-Gen. Sir David Boswell Egerton, 16th Bt. and Margaret Gillian Inge, on 31 July 1971.¹
     From 31 July 1971, her married name became Egerton.

     Matthew Robert Egerton was born on 19 May 1977.¹ He is the son of Sir William de Malpas Egerton, 17th Bt. and Ruth Watson.²
