     Brig.-Gen. Frederick William Barton Gray was born on 7 February 1867.2 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Thompson Gray and Ellen Harriet Barton.2 He married Winifred Frances Agnes Stewart, daughter of James Stewart, on 19 January 1907.2 He died on 17 January 1931 at age 63.2
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He was commissioned, in the service of the Royal Berkshire Regiment.2 He fought in the Waziristan Expedition between 1894 and 1895.2 He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.2 He fought in the Mohmand Expedition in 1908.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1908.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1915.2 He was GOC of the Mudros and Lemnos in 1917.2 He was commanding officer of the 57th Wilde's Rifles (FF), Indian Army.2 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1920.2

     Reverend Arthur Edwin Gray was born on 3 April 1875.1 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Thompson Gray and Ellen Harriet Barton.2 He married Henrietta Hester Hodges, daughter of Reverend John George Hodges, on 7 June 1915.1 He died on 10 February 1953 at age 77.1
