     Captain Lord Francis John Russell was born in 1808.2 He was the son of John Russell, 6th Duke of Bedford and Lady Georgiana Gordon.1 He married Elizabeth Peyton, daughter of Reverend Algernon Peyton and Isabella Anne Hussey, in 1844.3 He died on 28 January 1869.2,3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.3
