Evelyn Augusta Bateman-Hanbury was born on 28 August 1858 at St. George in the West, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of William Bateman-Hanbury, 2nd Baron Bateman of Shobdon and Agnes Burrell Kerrison.1 She married Robert John Foster, son of William Foster and Emma Eliza Anderton, on 16 September 1884 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.2 She died on 7 July 1908 at age 49.2
     From 16 September 1884, her married name became Foster.2

Gertrude Emily Bateman-Hanbury was born in 1861 at Brook Street, St. George in the West, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of William Bateman-Hanbury, 2nd Baron Bateman of Shobdon and Agnes Burrell Kerrison.1 She married Sir John Wood, 1st Bt., son of John Hill Wood and Emma Sidebottom, on 11 February 1892 at Hoxne, Norfolk, EnglandG.2,3 She died on 15 March 1927.3
     From 11 February 1892, her married name became Wood.2 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.3
