     Con 'Baccach' O'Neill, 1st Earl of Tyrone was born circa 1484.2 He was the son of Conn 'Mor' O'Neill, King of Ulster and Lady Eleanor FitzGerald.2 He married, firstly, unknown daughter O'Byrne, daughter of unknown O'Byrne.2 He married, secondly, Sarah O'Neill, daughter of Aedh Óg O'Neill.2 He and unknown daughter O'Byrne were divorced.2 He married, thirdly, Mary McDonnell, daughter of Sir Alexander 'Cannach' McDonnell, in October 1538.3 He died before 16 July 1559, while seeking refuge in the Pale from his son Shane an Diomais.3
     Con 'Baccach' O'Neill, 1st Earl of Tyrone also went by the nick-name of Con 'Baccach' (or in English, 'the Lame.4') He murdered Henry 'Og' O'Neill, King of Ulster on 21 July 1498.2 He gained the title of King of Ulster in 1519.2 He fought for a long period against the English to maintain his status as an independent sovereign, leading to his peerage.2 He was created 1st Earl of Tyrone [Ireland] on 1 October 1542, with special remainder to his illegitimate son Ferdoragh.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1543.2

     Rose O'Neill was the daughter of Sir Henry O'Neill and Martha Stafford.1 She married, firstly, Sir Randal Mac Donnell, 1st Marquess of Antrim, son of Randal Mac Sorley Mac Donnell, 1st Earl of Antrim and Alice O'Neill, before 20 March 1655/56.1 She married, secondly, unknown Schomberg circa 1689.1 She died after 4 January 1689/90.1
     After her marriage, Rose O'Neill was styled as Marchioness of Antrim before 20 March 1655/56. From before 20 March 1655/56, her married name became Mac Donnell.1 From circa 1689, her married name became Schomberg.1

     Sir Henry O'Neill was the son of Shane Mac Brian O'Neill and Rose Guinness.2 He married Martha Stafford, daughter of Sir Francis Stafford.3 He died on 8 April 1638.3
     He lived at Edenuffe Carrick (Shane's Castle), County Antrim, IrelandG.1 On 13 September 1637 he entailed his estates.3 He had four other (idiot) daughters.3

     Kenneth Mackenzie, 3rd Earl of Seaforth was the son of George Mackenzie, 2nd Earl of Seaforth and Barbara Forbes.1 He married Isabel Mackenzie, daughter of Sir John Mackenzie of Tarbat, 1st Bt. and Margaret Erskine, circa 1660.1 He died in December 1678.1
     He was educated at King's College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 He fought in the Battle of Worcester in 1651, as a Royalist.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Mackenzie of Kintail [S., 1609] in August 1651.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Seaforth [S., 1623] in August 1651.1 In 1654 his estates were confiscated.1 Between 1656 and 1660 he was imprisoned.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Ross in 1662.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1674.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Ross in 1675.1
