     Mary Halton was born in 1766.1 She was the daughter of Sir William Halton, 6th Bt. and Mary Garner.1 She married John Haughton James, son of Colonel Montague James and Mary Haughton, on 3 February 1791 at St. George, Hanover Square, London, England.1 She died on 8 July 1808.1
     From 3 February 1791, her married name became James.1

     Sir William Halton, 6th Bt. was born in 1746.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Halton, 5th Bt. He married Mary Garner.1 He died in 1833.1
     He gained the title of 6th Baronet Halton, of Samford [E., 1642]. On his death his baronetcy became extinct.

     Caroline Haughton James was born in 1797.1 She was the daughter of John Haughton James and Mary Halton.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Philip Clarke, son of Sir Philip Haughton Clarke, 8th Bt., on 24 July 1821 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1 She married, secondly, Peregrine Taylor Bingley, son of Thomas Brooke Bingley and Anne Horsford, after 1830.1 She died on 19 January 1863 at Boulevard des Italiens, Paris, France.1
     From 24 July 1821, her married name became Clarke.1 From after 1830, her married name became Bingley.1
