     May Robertson Bremner was born on 2 February 1826 at Madras, India.2 She was the daughter of Colonel William Bremner and Georgina Huntly Robertson.1 She married Sir George Samuel Brooke-Pechell, 5th Bt., son of Captain Samuel George Pechell and Caroline Thoyts, on 11 October 1842.1 She died on 10 April 1907 at age 81.1
     From 11 October 1842, her married name became Pechell.1 From 1860, her married name became Brooke-Pechell.

     Sir Samuel George Brooke-Pechell, 6th Bt. was born on 16 August 1852.1 He was the son of Sir George Samuel Brooke-Pechell, 5th Bt. and May Robertson Bremner.1 He married Constance Louisa Chawner, daughter of Captain Edward Henry Chawner, on 4 December 1879.1 He died on 9 February 1904 at age 51, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Pechell, of Paglesham, co. Essex [G.B., 1797] on 8 July 1897.1
