     Saint Knud II Svendsson, King of Denmark was born circa 1043.3 He was the son of Svend II Estrithson, King of Denmark and Gunhilda Sweynsdottir.2,1 He married Adela de Flandre, daughter of Robert I, Comte de Flandre and Gertrud von Sachsen, circa 1080. He died on 10 July 1086 murdered.1
