     Reverend Frederick Augustus Morland Spencer was born on 23 July 1878.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Vere Spencer and Emma Frederica à Court Gray.1 He married Gertrude Lucie Burke, daughter of George John Burke, on 3 June 1913.1 He died on 28 September 1962 at age 84.1
     He was educated at Bradfield School, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1901 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1902 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Chaplain between 1914 and 1918 in the Australian Imperial Forces.1 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1929 with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He was the Chaplain between 1929 and 1934 at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was the Rector between 1935 and 1948 at Great Rollwright, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He wrote the book Human Ideals, The Ethics of the Gospel, Civilisation Remade by Christ, The Theory of Christ's Ethics and the Future of Life.1

     Gertrude Lucie Burke was the daughter of George John Burke.1 She married Reverend Frederick Augustus Morland Spencer, son of Reverend Charles Vere Spencer and Emma Frederica à Court Gray, on 3 June 1913.1 She died on 4 October 1970.1
     From 3 June 1913, her married name became Spencer.

     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)2
