     Reverend Thomas Peregrine Courtenay was born on 21 February 1856.1 He was the son of Major George Henry Courtenay and Laura Samuda.1 He married Elizabeth Gittoes, daughter of William Gittoes, on 24 January 1883.1 He died on 30 August 1941 at age 85, without issue.1
     He was the Rector between 1908 and 1917 at Down St. Mary, Devon, England.1 He was the Rector between 1917 and 1920 at Hewish, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1
