     Lieutenant Augustus Maitland Ronald Douglas-Hamilton was born on 2 September 1847.1 He was the son of Frederic Douglas-Hamilton and Marina Norton.1 He married Therese Maude Wentworth, daughter of Captain W. B. C. Wentworth, in 1880.1 He and Therese Maude Wentworth were divorced in 1895.1 He died in 1906.1
     Lieutenant Augustus Maitland Ronald Douglas-Hamilton gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1
