     Brigadier John Henry Edward Fock, 6th Baron de Robeck was born on 10 April 1895.1 He was the son of Colonel Henry Edward William Fock, 5th Baron de Robeck and Anna Cranston Alexander.2 He married Katherine Simpson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hugh Simpson, on 17 August 1940 at St. James' Church, Piccadilly, London, England.3,4 He died on 10 April 1965 at age 70.3
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.1 He succeeded to the title of 6th Baron de Robeck [Sweden, 1750] on 27 April 1929.3 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1945.1 He retired from the military in 1947, with the rank of Brigadier, late of the Royal Artillery.1 He lived at Gowran Grange, Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.1
