     Jacques Maria di Borbone, Principe di Parma was born on 9 June 1922 at Longwy, France.1 He was the son of René Carlo Maria Guiseppe di Borbone, Principe di Parma and Margrethe Françoise zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, Princess of Denmark.1 He married Birgitte von Holstein-Ledreborg, Countess of Holstein-Ledreborg, daughter of Joseph von Holstein-Ledreborg, Count of Holstein-Ledreborg and Christina Hamilton, Countess Hamilton, on 9 June 1947 at Ledreborg, Copenhagen, Denmark.1 He died on 5 November 1964 at age 42 at Roskilde, Copenhagen, Denmark, killed in a road accident.1
     He gained the title of Principe Jacques di Parma.1 He was given the name of Jacques Marie Antoine Robert Valdemar Charles Felix Sixte Ansgar di Borbone at birth.
